About Me

Hi, I'm Eleanor the Owner of ER Vet Physio. In 2022 I qualified with a integrated master's in veterinary physiotherapy and have nearly completed my level 4 canine hydrotherapy certificate. Click Here to find out more about my qualifications. Since graduation I have been a continual member of both NAVP (National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists) and RAMP (Register of Musculoskeletal Practitioners). We are based in Stourbridge in the west midlands and cover the west midlands and Worcestershire as a rough guide.

From a young age, animals have always fascinated me. Not just the way they look, but how they move and communicate. Having spent may years in riding schools observing "naughty" behaviour, it's why at age 12 I knew I wanted to be an animal physio. This was the beginning of my passion for education around animal welfare.
 

Due to my riding school work ethic, at age 16 I was given the opportunity to get more equine experience outside of a riding school. As well as hands-on experience with sheep, cattle, and chickens.

Not forgetting dogs, before commencing university I volunteered once a week at a canine hydrotherapy pool, where I watched dogs being swam and dried them off post-swim.

As a professional I feel strongly about working with you as an animal care provider, to ensure you that can give an animal the best care possible. I love giving animal care givers the tools and information to maximise this care especially when it's free or low cost. There is huge misconception that you have to spend loads of money to provide great care!

Post degree my patients are primarily dogs with the majority being rehab cases, such as arthritis. However, I do have and have worked with sporting and non injured dogs (prehab). I am always happy to have a chat before commencing sessions, to ensure we are all happy with physiotherapy may work out for your animal.
