Home Modification Advice for Dogs and Cats
This exclusive service is an extra for any dog or cat owners that would like some bonus advice on what modifications could be done to their home to help their dogs and or cats.
What is the point of this service?
Many homes today are using a range of different flooring types, with a greater increase of surfaces that can be slippery for your pets. This can result in injury or conditions. Research backs this up, as dogs are more likely to develop hip dysplasia on slippery floors. Animals with diagnosed conditions such as osteoarthritis can also struggle more with certain environments. There is lots of free advice Canine Arthritis Management (CAM) being one, but understandably this can be overwhelming. This session is here to help especially as I will be able to advise you on what you actually have in your home and your situation.
What makes this service different from the advice given during other sessions?
This service is purely to help owners improve their home environment for their pets, therefore no therapy will be administered during this session. Giving more time to discuss at length what modifications could be done. You could choose this session for a number of reasons such as your animal has just been diagnosed with a condition or you want to learn what modifications can be made to reduce the risk of injury in the future.
What can be expected during a session?
During the session, we will go through each room and garden individually that your pet uses and discuss what modifications if any, may be done to help your pet. During this time please ask any questions and I will advise you as best I can.
Cost and duration?
This session costs £20 and will last up to 30 minutes. You can book this with a treatment session or as a standalone session the choice is up to you!
